36th Street Residence

This renovation began as a temporary residence for a young couple as we were planning their new home. As we studied modification to the temporary residence it became apparent that this home with changes would better serve the family well for many years. The 1950's screen porch was replace with a two story plus basement addition. This gave the home a proper street presence and add much needed living space. The first floor interior bearing wall was removed to allow for a combined living, dining, and kitchen with new floor to ceiling windows. The single car garage was converted into a family art and laundry room that connects out to the backyard. The home was given new life and the family plans to reside there for many years.
