St. Patrick Catholic Church

Lincoln, Nebraska

St. Patrick's current church was built at the turn of the century as a combined school and church.  A new church, which will replace the existing structure, will be built on the parish's property adjacent to the current school. A basement to accommodate a future parish hall and multiple meeting rooms off the narthex will better serve the parish's needs.  The church is designed in a classical mode with simple, clean lines that still exemplify the principle of noble beauty. In the sanctuary, the reredos takes cues from Irish ecclesial architecture.
