Paint Day
Wednesday was paint day. We love pulling out the water colors. It took a steady hand and small brushes for this rendering due to the small scale. Each person is only 3/16” tall and the tower is 4” tall The rendering will be used in the project’s fundraising campaign materials.
Art and Architecture tour of NYC
Kevin helped chaperone 40 high school students on a 4 day tip to NYC. He was able to lead tours through two of his favorite classical buildings - Grand Central Station and the NYC Central Public Library. Kevin always has a camera in hand and there were many photos captured but the sketchbook is never to far from reach. Here are a few of his sketches from the trip.
St Wenceslaus Catholic Church - Wahoo new sanctuary murals.
It has been an exciting 3 weeks watching the 1970’s sanctuary alteration being removed and the first phase of the sanctuary renovations begin. Evergreene Architectural Arts from New York City has been on site installing the new sanctuary murals. The new high altar is under construction and will be installed at the end of the year.
