With summer well underway, Clark Architects is pleased to announce three of our projects are undergoing construction bound to the summer months due to their association with local schools and universities.
Lincoln Public Schools: Saratoga Elementary School
Saratoga Elementary School is conducting a full window replacement on the windows on the original 1920s portion of the school. The top portions of the windows had been covered over the years, but now will return to full glass. The window replacement will be an improvement to the exterior aesthetic, as well as allow more natural light into the classrooms. Also included in the scope of work are modifications to the interior ceilings of the classrooms to allow for the added window height.
Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln
The renovations at Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority on the campus of the University of Nebraska include converting a large dormitory sleeping room into two study rooms on the second floor and to update finishes throughout the chapter house.
St. Gregory the Great Seminary
Finally, Clark Architects is honored to return to St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward, NE for a renovation to it's kitchen and dining room. The reworking and expansion of the food prep and serving areas will better facilitate the Seminary's expanding student population. The Chapel, library, offices, and classroom addition to St. Gregory's was designed by principal Kevin Clark in 2000.
