Kevin Clark, along with Fr. Robert Matya and Mr. Jude Werner of the Newman Center, architect James McCrery, and some of the Newman Center's generous donors, recently visited Franz Mayer's Studio in Munich, Germany to view the progress being made on the large sanctuary window for the St. Thomas Aquinas Church–Newman Center. The talented artists and craftsmen of Mayer are hard at work cutting, painting and leading the window panels so that they will be ready for the upcoming Dedication Mass. Because of the large size of the window, they were able to view each phase of the project, as some panels are completed, while some of the glass has yet to be cut.
